We have been really busy...our apologies.

I will try to update more, while at the hospital tonight.

But just for the record, here are some answers to questions many have had:

1) Yes, daddy was in a comatose state for a little over a week since the heart attack.
2) No, he is not able to verbally communicate with us at this time. He still has the feeding tube in his nose/down his throat.
3) He has the temporary trachea.
4) He is a little too active for the nurses so yesterday, they had to put restraints on his hands. Sigh. I believe my mom said, he had pulled some tubes out.
5) Not sure if he is able to write at this time.
6) We need to speak with the doctors to find out what is the next step or what we are waiting for.
7) He is still on the respirator which is the reason he has the trachea.
8) They are also keeping him somewhat sedated because of his activity as well as for pain from the tubing and trachea procedure.
9) My mom told me today, they had to give him two pints of blood and he was suppose to have an external scan of some sort today. We will find out more when we arrive at the hospital.
10) She let a message for his assigned doctor today, but I am not sure if she has heard from him or not as of yet. She should be on her way home shortly and I will find out if she spoke with the doctor today.
